PROCESS EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS' ASSOCIATION ONLINE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
The undersigned company hereby applies for membership in the Process Equipment Manufacturers' Association (pemaR). This application certifies that your corporation's principal products are within the scope of the PEMA? definition of "process equipment" as follows:
PROCESS EQUIPMENT: (Sometimes referred to as processing equipment) as referred to for membership in the Process Equipment Manufacturers' Association shall mean the equipment required when using physical or chemical methods for mechanical and/or thermal treatment or processing of a raw material or product. Primary examples of process equipment are agitators, mixers, the many types of crushing, grinding and screen equipment, vacuum and pressure filters, centrifuges, furnaces, kilns, dryers, sedimentation and classification devices. Included are all the principal equipment required for water conditioning, treatment of industrial and municipal wastes, metallurgical processing, pulp and paper production, food processing, production of petro-chemicals and other similar processing operations. Also included is equipment offered by a manufacturer who engineers and supplies systems related to and used in conjunction with primary process equipment. Specifically excluded from the definition of "process equipment" are products such as pumps, valves, piping, instrumentation and motors. Also excluded are manufacturers representatives or distributors who package various process equipment into process equipment systems.

With respect to process equipment, applicants must fulfill all of the following: Sell, assemble, transfer title/liability, provide after-sales service and stock parts. In addition, one or more of the following functions must be performed: Test, design systems, engineer applications and/or be the exclusive distributor.
SCHEDULE OF 2008 PEMA® ANNUAL DUES
Dues are based on the profit center for North America, that is, the facility where process equipment orders are taken and executed in the previous year, including orders entered for spare parts, repair parts and export orders.
First year dues are calculated as follows: Companies that join pemaR between January 1 through June 30 pay 50% of full dues; companies that join PEMA® between July 1 through December 31 pay 25% of full dues.
Single Entity Memberships
Member companies having more than one division or department manufacturing process equipment (as described above) pay only on the basis of the operating unit for which membership dues are being made, i.e., multiple membership is not automatic.
Multiple Entity Memberships
The primary company pays the maximum dues ($5,215) and each of the affiliated companies pays the minimum dues ($1,915).
